Meet the Maker Wine Dinner: Grupo Colomé at Hotel Vin
Thursday, May 1 at 6 PM – 9 PM
Featuring exquisite wines from Argentina’s Calchaquí Valley, this wine dinner is a showcase for Grupo Colomé’s labels Amalaya and Colomé.

Begin with a welcome reception at Hotel Vin’s CaveSociety tasting room. Then settle into your seat for an intimate dinner with winemaker Christoph Ehrbar, featuring a three-course menu by Chef Jose Soto. $99/person. Reservations via Hotel Vin.

Dallas Mimosa Walk: Kentucky Derby
Saturday, May 3 at 12 PM – 3:30 PM
The fun and fashion of Derby Day is coming to Deep Ellum! Wear your dapper duds and sip n’ shop your way around more than a dozen participating local businesses. Also enjoy an outdoor market featuring more than 50 vendors.

Your ticket includes pours from 20 mimosa stations, an event map, and a souvenir glass. There will also be a Hydration Station sponsored by Topo Chico. $42.99/person, advance online purchase required. Tickets via Eventbrite.
5th Annual Rosé Soirée at Hotel Vin
Saturday, May 3 at 3 PM – 6 PM
The Rosé Soirée is a celebration of all things pink, bubbly, and fabulous! Collect your Rosé Passport, which is your ticket to choose 10 tastings from over 40 food and beverage vendors. Once completed, it’s your entry into a raffle to win some fabulous prizes.
Hotel Vin will be bustling with live entertainment and Insta-worthy photo ops. Dress in pink (if you like) and participate in this fizzy, festive spring party. $75/person. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Sip and Scene Discussion Group: Wine Country
Monday, May 5 at 6 PM – 8 PM
Eat Chinese food and discuss a movie that passes the Bechdel Test. Sounds like a perfect evening to me.
Sip and Scene is a movie discussion group that meets every first Monday and chooses films with strong female characters and/or themes significant to women. This month’s movie is Wine Country, the 2019 comedy that follows a group of lifelong friends on a trip to Napa Valley.

It works like this: Watch the movie on your own, then go to New New Buffet in Addison and discuss Wine Country with other film fans. The event is free, but you gotta buy your own dinner. RSVP on Eventbrite.

Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet at Hotel Vin
Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 11 AM to 3:30 PM
Treat Mom to a decadent brunch buffet featuring a chilled seafood bar, carving station, and brunch classics at Grapevine’s wine-themed Hotel Vin. Wear your Sunday best and stop by the photo station to capture the memories.
Mothers receive a complimentary mimosas, and there’s a $10 Campari Aperol Spritz cart making the rounds. Soft drinks, juice, and tea are included–other alcohol is at regular bar prices.
$99 per adult, $45 for kids 6+, under 6 eat free. Prices include tax and gratuity. Reservations via Eventbrite. Choose from two seatings: 11 AM to 1 PM and 1:30 PM to 3 PM.

Build Your Own Butter Board at Landon Winery

Remember butter boards? The 2022-ish viral trend is back for a reunion tour of five of the Landon Winery locations. Local company Boards by B will teach you how to assemble your own butter board for hosting your dairy-loving friends. (Or for solo snacking–no judgment!) All ingredients are included, and you’ll also get 5 sample-size pours of Landon wines.

Spring Festa at Eataly Dallas
Wednesday, May 14 at 5 PM – 8 PM
More than just a grocery store, Eataly Dallas is a food and wine lover’s playground. Nibble your way through 8+ tasting stations featuring spring-inspired Italian dishes. Choose from 20+ light and crisp Italian wine pairings, and take home an Eataly wine bag as a souvenir.
$55/person. Tickets via Eventbrite. This is sip-and-stroll event and seating will be limited. All ages are allowed but you must be 21+ with valid ID to taste the wines.

Grapevine Wine Pavilion at Grapevine Main Street Fest
Friday-Sunday, May 16, 17, and 18
The Wine Pouring Society will be in attendance at the annual Main Street Fest in historic downtown Grapevine. Stop by the Wine Pavilion at the Main Stage for the opportunity to try local wines by the glass. Festival tickets are $10 (adult), $5 (kids/seniors), and $20 (adult weekend pass). Food and beverages are an additional cost.

6th Annual Rosé Olé Wine Walk in Deep Ellum
Saturday, May 17 at 4 PM – 7 PM
Every third Saturday of the month, enjoy a self-guided wine walk with a seasonal theme. Hosted by Discover Deep Ellum. May is a celebration of everybody’s favorite pink drink–rosé!
How does it work? Check in between 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM at the Plaza on Main and pick up your artist-designed wine glass and area map. Then, head to any of 15-20 local stores and restaurants for live entertainment and complimentary wine tastings.
$15 advance or $20 day of event. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Drink North Texas Wine Festival
Saturday May 31 at 10 AM – 8 PM
Sample award-winning Texas wines under the wings of the Smithsonian-affiliated Frontiers of Flight Museum’s historic aircraft collection. Enjoy live jazz music and catered bites by 1050 BBQ, too!

At the Drink North Texas Wine Festival, twelve area wineries will be bringing their best pours. Your entry ticket gets you two tastings per winery, plus the opportunity to purchase more wine by the glass or the bottle. $38/person in advance, $48 day of event. Tickets via Eventbrite. Presented by the North Texas Wine Association.
