Hello, Dallas–and welcome to summer! Here’s our monthly list of where to sip, study, and savor wine in the DFW area.

California Wine Tour Dinner at Carrabba’s (Various Locations)
Tuesday, June 2 or Wednesday, June 10 at 6:30 PM
Crowd-pleasing California wine styles are paired with a seasonal four-course menu. Savor fresh summer dishes like chilled shrimp salad with Imagery Sauvignon Blanc and lemon icebox pie paired with Conundrum red blend. $60/person (includes wine, does not include tax or gratuity).

Carrabba’s June wine dinner is being offered at three DFW locations: Dallas, Plano, and Hurst. Depending on your party size, you may be seated with other guests. Reservations required–call the restaurant or reserve online.

Discover Exciting Texas Wines at Central Market (Southlake)
Thursday, June 4 at 5:30 PM – 7 PM
Try white, red, and sparkling wine made right here in the Lone Star State. This evening class at Central Market’s cooking school will also include Texas-proud snack pairings. 21+. $33.25/person. Tickets via Eventbrite.

“Wine, Walk, Werk!” Cedar Springs Wine Walk (Dallas)
Thursday, June 4 at 6 PM – 9 PM
Stroll around The Strip while tasting wine at 30 participating LGBTQ-friendly businesses. Presented by the Cedar Springs Merchant Association. Admission is $20 and includes all the sips!
Buy your glass at the tent outside of Round-Up Saloon or online in advance. (Subject to change or cancellation due to weather–check with their social media for updates.)

Friday Night Flights: Cabernet Sauvignons Around the World at Central Market (Plano)
Friday, June 5 at 4 PM – 6 PM
One for all you Cab lovers! Sample a selection of Cabernet Sauvignon from several different countries and learn how climate and winemaking affect this versatile variety. 21+. $17.88/person. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Uncorked: Tutto Moscato at Eataly Dallas
Saturday, June 6 at 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
In Italy, Moscato is beloved for its beautiful floral aromas and refreshing, light-bodied style. You’ll discover several Italian expressions of this classic grape, which is perfect for spring and summer! $65.26/person includes class, wine tasting, and light food pairings. 21+. North Texas Wine Jam (Burleson)
Saturday, June 6 at 3 PM
A one-day wine and music festival hosted by Burleson’s Lost Oak Winery (45 minutes from Dallas). Enjoy three live bands, shopping, local food stands, and tastings/talks featuring 10+ Texas wineries.
Advance tickets are $42.30 (general admission) and $74.28 (VIP) and include wine tastings and a souvenir glass. Under 21 and non-wine tickets are available at a reduced cost. Schedule and maps are available at Texas Wine Jam.

WSET Level 3 Wine Course And Exam In-Person Class (Dallas)
Begins Saturday, June 7 at 10 AM
Level up your wine knowledge with the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. The next cohort begins on June 7 and meets on Saturdays and Sundays excluding July 4.
This is an advanced class and independent study is strongly recommended. See Dallas Wine Education Center for dates and registration info.

Robert Mondavi Dinner at Wine A Little (McKinney)
Wednesday, June 10 at 7 PM
Connect with fellow wine lovers over dinner, and learn about the life and work of pioneering Napa Valley winemaker Robert Mondavi. A four-course tasting menu will be paired with four iconic wines from Robert Mondavi Winery. Hosted by Wine A Little.

Summer Wine Pairing Dinner at Blind Bishop (Dallas)
Multiple Saturdays: June 13, 20, and 27 at 6:30 PM – 9 PM
A five-course Mediterranean feast with wine pairings curated by Master of Wine Dilek Caner. $95 (+$45 with wine) includes taxes and gratuity. Reservations here.

Annual Rosé Picnic at Barons Creek Winery (All Locations)
Sunday, June 14 at 12 PM – 2 PM
Enjoy a rosé-soaked day with games, prizes, and fun at Barons Creek Vineyards. Your ticket includes a welcome taste of rosé and caviar, a full-size glass of your choice, and a boxed picnic lunch.

German Wine Tasting at The Wine Authority (Richardson)
Wednesday, June 17 at 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
German wine isn’t just about Riesling–although we’re certain there will be some good Riesling on the table! Expand your palate with a specially selected lineup of German wines in a fun, friendly wine bar environment. $15/person.

Macauley Vineyard Tasting at Winestein’s (Grapevine)
Wednesday, June 17 at 7 PM – 8:30 PM
Macauley Vineyard produces single-vineyard Cabernets from some of Napa’s most storied sites including To Kalon, Stagecoach, and Star Vineyards. Try these limited-production wines at a special Winestein’s tasting event. $35/person. Tickets here.

The Comeback Kid: Merlot! Wine Tasting Class (Southlake)
Thursday, June 18 at 5:30 PM – 7 PM
The movie Sideways may have wounded Merlot’s reputation, but this marvelous grape will rise again. As Merlot fans, we’re so happy to see Central Market devoting an entire class to the variety.

You’ll taste Merlot from Bordeaux, Napa, Italy, and Washington along with some nibbles from the gourmet grocer. Learn new ways to select, pair, and enjoy Merlot! 21+. $48.63/person. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Tuscany, Rioja & Champagne with Vintus Imports at Total Wine (Dallas)
Saturday, June 20 at 5 PM – 6:50 PM
Total Wine’s Park Lane store welcomes Vintus Imports for a presentation of three brands from their portfolio. Discover the elegance of Bollinger Champagne, the refinement of Rioja from Marqués de Riscal, and classic Tuscan terroir from Frescobaldi. $30/person (rewards members may pay less). Tickets here.

Barrels & BBQ at Messina Hof (Grapevine)
Saturday, June 27 at 1 PM – 3 PM
Slow-cooked meat and fine Texas wine…it’s hard to imagine a better lunchtime treat. Savor four wines from Messina Hof served with delectable BBQ bites. You’ll learn how smoke, spice, acid, and fruit work together–and how to re-create these pairings in your own backyard cookouts. $72.79/person, including all taxes, fees, and staff gratuity.
