We love our vibrant, viniferous city! Once a month at The Wine Fairy blog, we pick Dallas-Fort Worth’s ten (or so) most exciting wine events to share with you.
But for November, there was too much to choose from–it was impossible to narrow it down. So here’s 20 local wine activities (yep, 20!) to keep your glass full and your palate happy all month long. (Events are listed in chronological order.)

Le Caveau Vinotheque 2nd Anniversary Celebration and Tasting (East Dallas)
Saturday, November 1 at 10 AM – 7 PM
Sip and shop all day at Le Caveau Dallas (White Rock) as they celebrate their anniversary! Enjoy complimentary tastings of the owner’s favorites, and special bottle discounts, too. Free come-and-go event.

San Polo Wine Masterclass & Dinner with Marilisa Allegrini (Dallas)
Thursday, November 6 at 6 PM – 8:30 PM
San Polo Montalcino is an organic producer renowned for their classic Brunellos and other refined, terroir-driven expressions of the Sangiovese grape. Join owner and winemaker Marilisa Allegrini to learn about these premium Italian wines. Château Corbin Wine Dinner with Annabelle Cruse (North Dallas)
Thursday, November 6 at 7 PM
Lavendou Bistro presents a luxurious dinner featuring Château Corbin wines of Bordeaux and guest speaker, estate owner Annabelle Cruse. Begin with a Champagne toast, then taste five courses paired with wines from this historic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé winery (including the 2015 and 2016 vintages!). $125/person plus tax and gratuity. Downtown Garland Wine Walk 2025
Saturday, November 8 at 3 PM – 7 PM
Meet local artisans while enjoying some tasty wine pours at this fall fair hosted by the Garland Downtown Business Association!
Downtown Garland is known for its friendly, walkable festivals–and yes, you can drink while strolling on the square. Admission includes a souvenir glass, digital map, and a wine selections provided by State and Main Merchant. Don’t forget to pick up your goodie bag from the Garland Central Library! $40/person. 21+. Wine & Swine Pig Roast Mixer at Cane Rosso (North Dallas)
Saturday, November 8 at 4 PM – 8 PM
Like pork? Like corks? Then you are the perfect customer for Cane Rosso‘s first-ever Wine & Swine Pig Roast Mixer. The centerpiece of this four-hour party is a whole fire-roasted pig, serving up pizza toppings and BBQ sliders for the whole patio. To pair with your pig-out, there will be wine selections from Trinchero Family Estates, Treasury Wine Estates, Jackson Family Wines, Vineyard Brands, and Wagner Family. Ages 21+. What’s Your Wine Type? Find Your Perfect Pour (Downtown Dallas)
Sunday, November 9 at 2 PM – 5 PM
Learn without the lecture! No previous wine knowledge is required at this fun afternoon of wine tasting at The Metropolitan on Main in the heart of downtown Dallas. Once you arrive, you’ll take a quick quiz and enjoy a flight of wines customized to your unique palate. Doors at 1:30 PM. $35/person, includes light bites. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Tiffany Tobey Wines at The Wine Authority (Richardson)
Wednesday, November 12 at 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
The Wine Authority hosts Tiffany Tobey, the current Sommelier and Wine Director for the Ritz Carlton Resort in Dallas, to present her new Signature Sommelier line of wines. All are grown in the South of France near the historic town of Carcassonne. Come taste them at the best wine bar in the North Dallas area!

Sinegal Estate Wine Dinner at Wine A Little (McKinney)

Discover the Birthplace of Wine – Georgian Wine with the Lanchava Siblings at Total Wine (Various Locations)

Friday, November 14 at 6:30 PM – 8 PM (West Plano and Plano North locations)
Total Wine presents a special Georgian wine class from the Lanchava Family at multiple DFW stores. Believed to be the country with the oldest wine-producing traditions, Georgia has been growing grapes for more than 8,000 years. Riedel Glassware Tasting Experience at Landon Winery (Coppell)
Thursday, November 13 at 6:30 – 8:30 PM
They say that glassware makes a big difference in the wine tasting experience. Here’s your chance to experience Texas wines alongside the luxury of Riedel: A guided sensory tasting from a Riedel Crystal expert at Landon Winery. Etna Rosso and Exploration Flights at Blind Bishop (South Dallas)
Saturday, November 15 at 5 PM – 9 PM
Blind Bishop is holding a wine bar evening with a guest star bottle from Sicily! In addition to wines by the glass and bottle, each of their wine bar event features a world-classic bottle at a special educational price. November 15th’s wine is Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosso.
Saturday’s event will also offer two Exploration Flights: Acidity 101 and Tannin 101. These are geared toward people studying for exams, or who just want to train their palate. (Feeling brave? You can taste them blind for an additional challenge.) Blind Bishop owner Dilek Caner MW will be on the floor to guide tastings and answer questions. Is it Gewürz season yet? Can it please be Gewürz season, already? Just in time for the holidays, Messina Hof Winery has organized a fall tribute to this rich, spicy, wholly indulgent grape. A Journey Through Salta Wine Region of Argentina at WineTastic (Dallas Uptown)
Thursday, November 20 at 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Ascend into the vineyards of the Andes and taste sublime wines grown at 5,500 to 10,200 feet above sea level. Your guide is Martín Coscia, native from Argentina and Brand Ambassador for leading Salta producer Bodega Colomé. Wine & Cheese Lovers Woodworking Class at Rockler (Garland)
Friday, November 21 at 1 PM – 3 PM
This popular make-and-take workshop is offered every few months by the folks at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware in Garland. First, you’ll learn to use a wood lathe to create a wine bottle stopper and a cheese knife handle. Then, you’ll receive expert assistance crafting a live edge wooden cheese board.
Important stuff: Rockler Woodworking classes are for ages 14+. Under 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult (adult does not need a ticket). Closed-toe shoes and short sleeves required. $162.38/person. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Seasonal Sips Winetail Class at Messina Hof (Grapevine)

Gainesville Wine & Country Festival
Saturday, November 22 at 12 PM – 6 PM
A showcase of 16 North Texas wineries organized by North Texas Wine Country! Sip and stroll while enjoying local pours, vendors, and live music in charming downtown Gainesville (about an hour northwest of Dallas). North Texas Wine Country events are well-organized and a lot of fun–check out our review of their Spring 2025 festival here!
