Harvest is underway in Texas, and our social media feeds are full of grape crushes from the High Plains and Hill Country. (Jealous!)
Although few wine grapes are grown here in the DFW area, that doesn’t mean we have to miss out on the joy of the harvest season. Here’s where to get your wine fix in North Texas in September 2025.
Tasting Tuesdays at Antonio Ristorante (Addison)
Tuesday, September 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 6:30 PM
Tuesday Tastings return for the fall season at Antonio Ristorante in Addison Circle. Each week, try three sommelier-selected wines paired with three small plates in a communal and informative setting. We attended a couple of these during the Spring 2025 season and had a great time! $40/person.

Honky Tonk Thursdays at Hotel Vin’s WineYard (Grapevine)
Thursday, September 4, 11, 18, and 25 at 6:30 PM – 9 PM
Every Thursday in September, head over to the WineYard for an evening of country swing dancing (with a little bit of Latin swing flavor). Grab a complimentary welcome drink from the bar, and then hit the dance floor! Local favorite dance instructor Julio Cesar leads a one-hour class that will have you boot-scooting in no time.
Beginners and singles welcome. The dance class takes place on turf so it’s recommended to wear suitable shoes. $30.87/person. Tickets via Eventbrite.

39th Annual GrapeFest®: A Texas Wine Experience (Grapevine)
Thursday, September 11 to Sunday, September 14
Come on down to the largest wine festival in the Southwest! GrapeFest returns for four days of wine tasting and harvest celebration. This year’s theme, “The Grape Gatsby,” pays homage to the Roaring Twenties. Don your dapper duds and stroll through historic Main Street while you sip.
2025’s GrapeFest features special sessions on the wines of Barossa, Australia and on Riesling from around the world. And don’t miss the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic 2025, the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the United States. Taste wine from producers all across Texas and cast a vote for your favorite!
Ticket prices vary depending on the day and event(s) chosen. General admission is $6-$12 (free all day Thursday and before 5 PM on Friday). A full weekend pass is $25. Wine tasting experiences are ticketed separately and start at $15.

Sangria Class at 4R Ranch (Muenster)
Saturday, September 13 at 12 PM – 2 PM
Perfect the art of sangria making with this interactive class at 4R Ranch Vineyards and Winery. You’ll learn to balance flavors, craft garnishes, and mix up your own refreshing pitcher of red or white sangria. At the end, there will be a friendly competition to crown the best blend of the day!
Ticket includes one bottle of 4R Ranch’s signature wine to start your sangria (choice of crisp Albariño or rich Nectar Rouge), all ingredients, and class instruction. $40/person, or $30 for wine club members. A tapas menu will be available (extra charge for food). Reservations here.

Once you’ve ingested some liquid courage, get your pink boots in line for the Best Dressed Barbie Competition.
