Prosecco to Refosco: A Journey Through Ca Modeano

Thursday, June 5 at 6 PM

Dallas’s CiboDivino Marketplace is a grocer and café offering interesting wines and Italian-centric bistro fare. This month, they’re hosting a special wine dinner featuring four Ca Modeano wines from Italy’s Friuli region. Ca Modeano is new to Texas and will be represented by special guest speaker Leonardo Pisani. Doors at 5:30. Tickets via their website or Eventbrite. $65-$73.61/person.

Derby Portfolio Tasting at Winestein’s

Thursday, June 5 at 7 PM – 9 PM

Grapevine’s boutique wine shop, Winestein’s, will be hosting Dionysus Imports for a tasting of the Derby Wine Estates lineup. Expect bold and varied selections that express the diversity of Derby’s 400 acres of estate vineyards in Paso Robles. $15. Tickets here.

Uncorked: Meet the Producer – Brunello Valdicava & Ferrarini at Eataly Dallas

Saturday, June 7 at 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Eataly Dallas is Dallas’s premier destination for Italian gourmet imports and wines. Their “Uncorked” series combines the best Italian wines with artisanal nibbles and expert guests.

Discover new flavors and learn about the methods and history behind these delightful pairings. At June’s event, you’ll taste some of the most celebrated Sangiovese wines of Tuscany with PierFilippo Abbruzzese, owner of the Valdicava estate. Spring Into Summer Wine Dinner at Landon Winery Coppell

A multi-course dinner by chef Justin Box, thoughtfully paired with Texas wines from Landon Winery. Raise a glass to summer while enjoying seasonal dishes like Texas Pork Loin and Mexican Chocolate Panna Cotta.

An Afternoon with North Texas Winemakers Guild

Sunday, June 8 at 1 PM – 4:30 PM

A potluck and info session with the North Texas Winemakers Guild hosted by North Texas Homebrew Supply. Sample small-batch wine creations and get your homebrewing questions answered by experts. Free to attend. (Bring something to share if you’ve got it!) Reservations via Eventbrite.

Honky Tonk Thursday at Hotel Vin’s WineYard

Thursday, June 12 at 6:30 PM – 9 PM

Head over to the WineYard for an evening of country swing dancing (with a little bit of Latin swing flavor). Grab a complimentary welcome drink from the bar, and then hit the dance floor! Local favorite dance instructor Julio Cesar leads a one-hour class that will have you boot-scooting in no time. Beginners and singles welcome. $30.87. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Somm Wars Wine Duel at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse

Somms battle–you feast! Two Master Sommeliers (Julie M. Dalton and Aaron Patrick) will create wine pairings for a luxurious four-course dinner at Del Frisco’s. Diners will taste and deliberate, and one somm will be named the evening’s Master of Pairings. The delicious, thrilling Somm Wars event is exclusive to Del Frisco’s Dallas location.

Belle Glos and Quilt Wine Dinner at Maggiano’s

Thursday, June 12 (Willow Bend) and Friday, June 13 (NorthPark) at 6:30 – 9:30

Maggiano’s Little Italy continues their wine dinner series, this time featuring Napa Valley pairings from Belle Glos and Quilt Wines. With four courses including antipasti, fettuccini alfredo, and steak ravioli, you won’t leave hungry. $104.75/person. 8th Annual National Rosé Day Wine Walk on Greenville

Saturday, June 14 at 11:30 AM to 5 PM

A big street party starring Dallas’s favorite pink drink, rosé! If you’ve ever pub-crawled through Lower Greenville, you know it means nightmare parking, tons of corporate sponsorship, and color-coordinated hordes of over-imbibers. But some people love it, so here you go!

Check in at Four Day Weekend Comedy Club to receive your wristband, swag bag, and digital map. Vino Days Weekend at Eataly Dallas

Eataly‘s Vino Days weekend event is an opportunity to explore the store and get free tastings of selected Italian wines. A pro calligrapher will be on hand for complimentary custom bottle engraving. There will be live music and special discounts on wine bottles, too!

True Crime and Wine: A Cup of Murder

Sunday, June 15 at 3 PM – 4:30 PM

John Matthews, owner and winemaker at Cassaro Winery, is also a law enforcement veteran and the award-winning author of six non-fiction books including The Eyeball Killer. This month, he presents the grisly story of a serial killer who turned her victims into soap after murdering them with poisoned wine.

Super Tuscan Wine Dinner at Il Pastaio

Wednesday, June 18 at 6 PM – 8 PM

A celebration of Super Tuscans at Eataly’s full-service restaurant, Il Pastaio. Three delicious courses will each be served with a premium Tuscan red. A wine expert will explain what makes each wine special and how best to pair and enjoy them.

$145.93/person (not including gratuity). Seating is communal. This event is part of Il Pastaio’s Wine & Dine series, which occurs on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Summer Solstice Wine Trail

Saturday, June 21 from 11 AM – 6 PM

Visit seven wineries in Downtown Grapevine, and enjoy sample-size pours and a snack item at each stop. Grapevine’s self-guided wine trails are a great introduction to Texas wines. (Check out our recent review of the Spring Wine Trail!). $60/person in advance, $65 day of event.

This summer event is presented by Grape Vine Springs Winery. When you purchase an advance ticket, you can elect to pick up your wine passport at any of the seven participating wineries.

Flowers, Flights and Facets at The Stoneleigh Hotel

Saturday, June 21 at 1 PM – 4 PM

The elegance of Uptown meets the fresh coastal wines of Sonoma. Oh, and there will be shinies! This exclusive sip ‘n shop event takes place on the 11th floor of Dallas’s historic Stoneleigh Hotel. Inside, you’ll find a luxury pop-up shopping experience including fine jewelry by Elizabeth Martin and Kendra Scott, and art and antiquities from H|K Art Advisory.

Your ticket includes a wine flight from Flowers Winery (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and rosé, plus an additional pour of your choice) and a deluxe charcuterie station prepared by Executive Chef Esayas Estifanos. Tiki! Wine Walk in Deep Ellum

Saturday, June 21 at 4 PM – 7 PM

Every third Saturday of the month, enjoy a self-guided wine walk with a seasonal theme. Hosted by Discover Deep Ellum. This June, they’ve teamed up with Dallas Tiki Week to create a luau-themed celebration to put you in an island state of mind.

How does it work? Check in between 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM at the Plaza on Main and pick up your artist-designed wine glass and area map. Then, head to any of 15-20 local stores and restaurants for live entertainment and complimentary wine tastings.

Cakebread Wine Dinner at The Oceanaire Seafood Room

Saturday, June 21 at 6:30 PM

Another wine dinner, this one for seafood lovers! The Oceanaire is an ocean-liner inspired traditional seafood restaurant located inside Galleria Dallas. Start with a welcome reception with passed canapes and an Aperol spritz. Then, take your seat for an elegant four-course dinner paired with coastal wine selections from Cakebread Cellars. $172.12/person. Tickets via Eventbrite.
