I accept samples of wine (and wine-related products) for editorial consideration. Here’s the sample policy for The Wine Fairy:
1. Sending a sample does not guarantee coverage.
I accept samples that align with The Wine Fairy‘s editorial focus. I consider all samples thoughtfully and professionally, and I tend not to review products that I don’t like. However, receiving a sample does not guarantee that I will write about the product favorably, or at all.

Not every wine I taste for The Wine Fairy receives a score. To avoid creating an appearance of bias when reviewing wines provided as samples, I generally focus on descriptive tasting notes, pairing recommendations, producer background, and other useful editorial context rather than assigning a numerical score.
2. I retain complete editorial control.
The Wine Fairy is an independent publication, and the opinions that appear on the site are my own.
I do not accept paid or sponsored editorial features, and I do not offer pre-publication approval or editorial control as a condition of receiving samples.
If you discover a factual error in an article about your business or product, please get in touch. I welcome corrections and will promptly address factual errors.
3. Samples are disclosed.
The vast majority of wines covered on The Wine Fairy are purchased with my own funds.
When a wine or product provided as a sample or gift results in published coverage, I disclose the relationship with a brief note at the end of the article and/or within the text.
