Hello, loveys! Have we got big list of February events for you! This weekend’s winter storm is assuredly going to suck–but the sun (and the wine) will come out tomorrow. So get ready to shake off the winter blahs, get out from under the covers, and indulge your craving for tasty wine adventures around the Metroplex.

As always at The Wine Fairy, we’ve done our best to make this info current and correct–but event organizers can make changes at the last minute. Please contact the hosts directly if you have questions or need to confirm something. Ticket prices include all taxes and fees except where noted.
Dallas, here’s your February 2026 wine events (in chronological order by start date):
North Texas Winter Wine Trail (Self-Guided)
February 1 – March 1, 2026 (ongoing)
Discover Texas wines at your leisure with this self-paced, month-long Texas wine experience. It’s organized by the North Texas Winery Association and sponsored by the city of Gainesville, Texas.
North Texas’s 40 participating wineries invite you to come visit them any time during the month of February. February wine trail tickets are $54.02 (via Eventbrite) and include three or more tasting-size pours at each location. (That’s at least a $500 value if you’re ambitious enough to go and redeem them all.)

DAOU Vineyards Wine Dinner at Carrabba’s (Various Locations)
Wednesday, February 4 at 6:30 PM or Tuesday, February 17 at 6:30 PM
A five-course meal featuring wines from DAOU Vineyards of Paso Robles. Enjoy a starter, salad, pasta, steak, and dessert course. Accompanying your massive Carrabba’s meal are five pairings from DAOU‘s catalog of bold American favorites, such as DAOU Rosé and The Pessimist Red Blend. $80/person, not including tax or gratuity.

February’s “Paired to Perfection” DAOU Vineyards Wine Dinner is being offered at three DFW locations: Dallas, Plano, and Hurst. Depending on your party size, you may be seated with other guests. Reservations required–call the restaurant or reserve online.

Winemakers’ Dinner at Lavendou with Raymond Vineyards, Buena Vista Winery, and DeLoach Vineyards (North Dallas)
Thursday, February 5 (evening)
Beat the Valentine’s rush with Lavendou Bistro‘s early February wine dinner. A five-course set menu of French classics includes generous wine pairings from Napa and Sonoma.
Lavendou’s guests for the evening include Thane Knutson (winemaker for Raymond Vineyards), Ryan Lynch (winemaker for Buena Vista Winery), and Katie Carter (winemaker for DeLoach Vineyards). $125/person plus tax and gratuity.
Advance reservations are required. (Contact Lavendou for exact time and to make a reservation.) If you would like to be seated at a group table with the winemakers, you can let the restaurant know and they will try to accommodate your request.

Fire & Wine: A Raku Pottery Experience (Fort Worth)

Hearts and kilns will be blazin’ at this make-and-take date night workshop. Glaze and fire a heart-shaped trinket tray while enjoying specials on indie wines by the glass and growler. Hosted by Garret Pendergrass Pottery and WineHaus.

Patrimony Wines 2021 Vintage Launch Celebration at The Wine Authority (Richardson)
Monday, February 9 at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Celebrate the launch of the new vintage of Patrimony (ultra-premium label by DAOU) at The Wine Authority! Taste the previous edition of their Cabernet Sauvignon (2020) alongside the newly released 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and “Caves des Lions” Bordeaux-style blend.

Couples Wood Wine Goblet Workshop (Garland)
Tuesday, February 10 at 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Turn some wood with your sweetie (heh heh, “wood”) at this fully instructed lathe class at Rockler Woodworking. Please dress for the workshop–closed-toe shoes, no loose hair or clothing–and allow 3 hours to complete your project. You’ll end up with a matching set of wine goblets with a cool story.

Wine and Chocolate: A Perfect Pair at Total Wine (Various Locations)
Thursday, February 12 at 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM or Friday, February 13 at 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Bring your sweet tooth and learn to play matchmaker between different wine styles and their chocolate-y soul mates. Wine samples and light nibbles are provided during this seated class experience. $20/person (Total Wine rewards program members may pay less).

Local tip: DFW has a gazillion Total Wine locations and this class will be offered ~20 times over the two weekdays leading up to Valentine’s Day. Reservations are required, and many time slots will sell out as people search the city for a frugal date activity. Check with your local store’s calendar for tickets and availability.

Valentine’s Festa at Eataly Dallas
Thursday, February 12 at 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

A hands-on crafty workshop at Messina Hof‘s historic Grapevine tasting room. Flex your creativity by making two projects: A beautiful floral bouquet (to take home) and a floral-inspired charcuterie cup (to eat). Texas Harvest Wine Tasting (Dallas)
Saturday, February 14 at 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Taste wines from 12 different North Texas producers, all under one roof. Member wineries of the Cross Timbers Wine Trail will be pouring on Valentine’s Day at Dallas Farmers Market. Plus, ask all your burning wine-growing questions at the Texas Department of Agriculture’s “Uncork Texas Wines” booth.
Admission includes 20 wine tastes and a commemorative souvenir. Enjoy live music, craft booths, and snacks for purchase from Scardello Artisan Cheese, too.

4R Ranch Winery Valentine’s Dinner (Muenster)
Saturday, February 14 at 6 PM – 9 PM
Treat your partner or bestie to a three-course dinner menu at the scenic 4R Ranch Winery in Muenster, Texas (about 90 minutes north of Dallas). A relaxing, romantic evening featuring live music by Dave Alexander.

Ride the rails on an authentic 1920s train coach while tasting small bites and locally made artisan chocolate with your sweetie. Includes a tasting of two Texas wines (your choice) by Messina Hof plus a souvenir wineglass. 21+.

Cassaro Wines Imported Italian Meats and Wine Pairing (Ovilla)

Cassaro Wines‘ owner John Matthews is organizing a group trip to Tuscany for March-April 2026. But not everyone’s budget and schedule allows for jetting off to Italy this spring. So Cassaro is sharing some of the country’s best bites: Imported cured meats that are perfect for enjoying with Texas wines!

A consortium of Howell Mountain producers are bringing their wines on the road with stops in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas. Seize the opportunity to sample 75+ wines from 26 participating wineries in the prestigious Napa Valley sub-AVA. (Did I mention it’s happening in a really neat aviation museum full of life-size toy planes? Plane go vrooooom!)
